Riviera-Montalvo Beach is a public beach in south San Clemente. Riviera-Montalvo is a nice, wide beach. The San Clemente Beach Coastal Trail runs through this area and is a nice trail that can takes you to the San Clemente Pier. Access to this beach is between homes on the north cul-de-sac of Plaza A La Playa. Although there are no facilities at Riviera-Montalvo Beach, Calafia Beach is just south of here and has restrooms and a cafe.
